Department of Sociology is one of the oldest departments of the College. It was established in 1958 and nurturing the new generation of mind. Department offers two years M.A (Sociology) and four years B.A programme. Its importance lies in the fact that it caters to the need of undergraduate as well as postgraduate students. This department has 01 permanent faculty, 01 Guest Faculty and 01 faculty from Janbhagidari Samiti. Presently, Mrs. Hemlata Garg is the HOD of the department.
